1. Overview & Core Privacy Principle

Welcome to Farm Buddy, developed by Brain Baskets. We believe your farm data belongs solely to you. Farm Buddy is built from the ground up as a 100% offline-first application. We do not collect, transmit, share, sell, or monitor your personal or agricultural operational data.

2. Data We DO NOT Collect

• No Personal Identifiers: We do not require or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or national identification.
• No Account or Login Credentials: The app operates without registration, passwords, or cloud accounts.
• No Financial / Payment Data: Any income, expense, sales, or debt records entered are stored purely on your local device.
• No Location Tracking: We do not record or share GPS coordinates.
• No Tracking / Analytics: No behavioral tracking or third-party telemetry tools are embedded.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

All records—including crop cycles, dairy milk logs, poultry flocks, livestock health and breeding history, fish water quality measurements, financial ledgers, and task schedules—are stored exclusively in a secure, local SQLite database residing inside your device's private app storage.

4. Device Permissions

Permission	Usage & Purpose
Storage / Media	Used only when you explicitly export PDF reports, CSV spreadsheets, or save/restore manual database backup files.
Camera / Photos	Used only if you optionally attach a photo to an individual animal or farm location profile.
Notifications	Used solely for local, on-device routine task and vaccination reminders you schedule.

5. Third-Party Services & Advertising

Farm Buddy contains no third-party advertisements and connects to no external advertising or analytical networks.

6. Data Control & Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Instant Clear: You can wipe all local farm records anytime via Settings > Clear All Data.
• Uninstall: Removing the app permanently erases the local database from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

Farm Buddy does not collect any information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), in full compliance with COPPA and GDPR regulations.
